1 Try this first

Most reports come down to one of these four. Thirty seconds each.

๐Ÿ”„

Deck you paid for is locked

Open the deck screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it.

๐Ÿ“ถ

Purchase won't go through

Buying and restoring need a connection โ€” the game itself does not. Switch off VPN, get on wifi or data, and try again.

๐ŸŽฏ

Cards pick the wrong people

Check the โ™‚/โ™€ tags on the player screen. Cupid uses them to aim. Untagged players can be picked for anything.

๐Ÿ’ฅ

App freezes or crashes

Force-quit, reopen, and update to the latest version. Still broken? Email us with your phone model and OS version.

2 Common questions

How do I restore a deck I already paid for?

Open the deck screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it.

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Same steps โ€” nothing is lost. If a deck still shows as locked after restoring, email us the receipt and we will sort it out.

Do I need internet to play?

No. The game runs fully offline: no accounts, no pairing, no server. A connection is only needed the moment you buy or restore a deck.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email, no login, and no password. Player names, gender tags, and deck choices stay on your phone and are never sent to us. Details in the privacy policy.

How many players can join?

Two or more, all on one phone. Type everyone's name, then pass the phone around the room. No second device needed, and nobody has to install anything.

Can I skip a card?

Always. Every dare can be passed by finishing your drink โ€” or by drinking nothing at all, if that's your night. Drinking is optional and consent from everyone involved is not.

How do I cancel a subscription?

The monthly and yearly plans renew automatically. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, and pick Drunk Cupid.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends or the next charge goes through. Cancelling keeps your access until the paid period runs out. Single decks are one-time purchases and are not affected.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us โ€” we never see your payment details. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

If Apple turns you down and you think the app is at fault, email us and we will help you make the case.

Why is a deck marked 18+?

After Dark and No Nuts November contain adult dares โ€” physical contact, kissing, and suggestive content. The whole app is rated 18+, but those two decks are the reason.

Is my data collected?

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no cookies on this site. Nothing you type into the app leaves your device. Full detail in the privacy policy.

Can I suggest a card or a whole deck?

Yes, and this is the best email we get. Send the card text, which deck it belongs in, and whether it needs a gender tag. Good ones get added.

A card crossed a line. How do I report it?

Email us the exact card text and the deck it came from. Cards that are unsafe, non-consensual, or just mean get pulled or rewritten โ€” we would rather hear about it than not.

3 Reporting a bug

Include these and we can usually fix it without a second email:

Purchase problems: attach the receipt Apple emailed you. It is the fastest way for us to confirm and restore a deck.
